Short Bio:
Jay Adams loves to learn and teach, and he's absolutely devoted to reclaiming education from people who view school as a factory, a prison, or a necessary evil. His 18 years as a teacher include 10 in school administration. No one has ever accused him of not loving his job or being afraid to throw rocks at the status quo.
Suggested Questions:
- You've argued ferociously that schools should ideally be "small, local, and private." Can you explain that position to us?
- Everybody is talking about extending the school year and increasing pre-school access, but you think we spend too much time in K-12 education. Why?
- When a student fails, whose fault is it?
